09-05-2008
BARCELONA, Spain - M2Linx Design S.L. property of Manuel Lopez and Miguel Angel Rodriguez is a Spanish company located in the city of Barcelona, where the best engineers, designers and artists come together with their knowledge to offer new concepts to the world. The company is composed of young dynamic professionals who, enriched by the fantastic environment this beautiful city has to offer, work everyday to develop new projects.
With the goal to offer a few privileged individuals a unique and exclusive vehicle, with features rivaling the best in the world, M2Linx Design S.L. used the most state of the art engineering on the Linx, both in the design of each of its components as well as in the manufacturing process, resulting in a masterpiece of exquisite style.
The LINX is a unique piece of art, a revolutionary concept, much more than just a limited edition car. It is a car with features that will set trends.
The spectacular design of this masterpiece is a creation of renowned young designer Andy Juárez, who at the young age of 25 has already demonstrated enough talent to put him on the same level with the best designers in the world.
The look and engineering of the new LINX gives the driver a feeling of freedom, power, speed and agility, not unlike that of the Spanish lynx. It is precisely this feline that gave the designers the inspiration for this innovative project’s name and exterior.
The 2-seat interior was designed using traditional solutions that offer both elegance and spaciousness by using a unique configuration. What really stands out is the instrument panel which a screen that is totally configurable by the user, giving the feeling of being inside an aircraft.
The futuristic design is also present in the center console, where the aluminum sequential gearbox shifter and hand break make optimal use of space to provide a unique driving experience.
These features where developed by Ficosa International, who is assisting us in this project.
The best feature is its weight to power ratio. With a 380CV engine, aluminum chassis and carbon fiber body totaling only 650Kg, it offers a ratio of 1.7Kg/CV, far surpassing many current supercars with a 0 to 100Km acceleration of less than 3 seconds.
