BEIJING, China - On the occasion of the 10th Beijing International Auto Exhibition Guangzhou Automobile Group presented cars produced by its joint venture companies with Toyota and Honda. But the company also displayed a few prototypes which demonstrate its intention to go on the path of independent design.
There were three prototypes shown: two of them, the AHEV hybrid and a sporty 4-door coupe were already shown at the 2007 Guangzhou Auto Show. However the new Cabrio-Coupe (Convertible-Coupe) was shown for the first time.
The new Cabrio-Coupe was designed around the theme: sun, beach, waves. It features a hardtop convertible system.
