
Changan Yuexiang goes on sale in China

CHONGQING, China -- Changan Auto, a leading Chinese automobile manufacturer and local partner of Suzuki, Ford, Volvo and Mazda has unveiled its latest model, the Yuexiang (Happy Flying).
This new mini-sedan was designed by Changan's Italian design studio. The studio which is located in Moncalieri, near Turin is being led by Italian Luciano D'Ambrosio.
The car is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, capable of 72 kW @ 5000 rpm. Main dimensions are 4360x1710x1475 mm. It sharest its 2515 mm long platform with the previous-generation Ford Fiesta . Max speed is 170 km/h. Standard equipment includes two airbags, CD-player, ABS, electric mirrors, 14" alloy wheels.
This is the 3rd self-developed model Changan, beside the BenBen and the Zhixiang.
